European Commission DG Agri

In December 5th, 2017, DG Agri workshop “How can social innovation contribute to rural development?” took place in Brussels. The consortium of SIMRA H2020 project (http://www.simra-h2020.eu/) discussed the potential contribution of SIMRA project to the EU Commission’s policies on agriculture, rural development and the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) with 20 representatives of DG Agri. They expressed great expectations this project as well as their wishes.

Professor Tatiana Kluvánková, the leader of Work Package 2, introduced the transdisciplinary understanding of social innovation in marginalized rural areas in her invited lecture titled „What is social innovation?“
